Almost every prop firm allows you to copy trades between accounts you own. Very few allow copying another trader. Between those two, each firm has its own conditions, such as a capital cap, same-direction trading or a ban on cloud copiers.
Below, each firm's rules are summed up with a link to the firm's own page. We read them on 19 October 2026. Firms change these rules, so open the source before you link accounts.
CFD prop firms
-
Allowed between your own FTMO accounts, as long as each account meets its own rules. Accounts traded the same way share one $400K capital limit, and you can hold only one Instant Account.
-
FundedNext
With limitsAllowed only between your own Challenge accounts, up to $300K combined, with a copier on your own VPS. Cloud copy services are not allowed, so use the local version of Heron Copier.
-
The5ers
AllowedAllowed between your own accounts. Several Bootcamp accounts must be traded with different strategies, so don't copy between those.
-
FundingPips
With limitsAllowed between your own FundingPips accounts and from a FundingPips master to an outside account. Copying into a FundingPips account from an outside account is not allowed, except on the 1K Instant account.
-
E8 Markets
AllowedAllowed across all accounts you own, including personal accounts elsewhere, with any copier. Team trading and signal services are not.
-
FXIFY
With limitsAllowed between your FXIFY accounts and from them to others. Not on Instant Funding, Instant Funding LITE or Lightning, and a 2 Phase PRO account can only be the master. Copying in from an outside account needs a 30-day statement in your name.
-
Alpha Capital Group
With limitsAllowed between your own accounts, or from your own outside account with proof of ownership, on MT5 only. Send support the master and slave account numbers before you start.
-
Blue Guardian
AllowedAllowed between your own Blue Guardian accounts, evaluation and funded, and your own outside accounts, with a third-party copier that follows its rules.
-
BrightFunded
AllowedAllowed between accounts you own, including at other firms and brokers. Hedging across accounts is not, by hand or with a copier.
-
Maven Trading
Not allowedOnly manual copying of your own trades. EAs and automated copiers are prohibited on every Maven platform, so Heron Copier can't be used here.
Futures prop firms
-
Topstep
With limitsAllowed between your own Trading Combine and Express Funded accounts with the copier built into TopstepX, not on Live Funded accounts. Topstep's API rules say orders must come from your own device, not a VPS or remote server, and third-party API apps are at your own risk.
-
Allowed between Performance Accounts in your own and your business's name, up to 20 active, all trading the same direction. Every trade on the master must be placed by hand; automated trading is banned.
-
Take Profit Trader
AllowedAllowed on Test accounts and on up to five PRO and PRO+ accounts, as long as you copy your own trading.
-
MyFundedFutures
AllowedAllowed on every account type for your own trading. Copying other traders is not, and MyFundedFutures gives no support for problems a copier causes.
-
Tradeify
AllowedAllowed between accounts you own, all trading the same direction. Tradeify recommends Tradovate group trading; a third-party copier is at your own risk.
-
In-platform and third-party trade copiers are allowed. Hedging across accounts is banned, and you can hold up to 10 accounts, at most 5 of them funded.
-
Bulenox
With limitsTrade copiers are allowed, but commercial or shared automation tools are not, and third-party Rithmic connections cost $100 a month. Ask Bulenox before you connect.
-
FundedNext Futures
AllowedAllowed for your own trades, between your FundedNext accounts or with your accounts at other firms, with any copy tool. Signal services and group trading are not.
-
Earn2Trade
Not allowedTrade copiers are not allowed on any Earn2Trade program, in the evaluation or after funding.
Rules almost every firm shares
- Own accounts only. Copying another trader, a signal group or a paid "pass your challenge" service is banned and usually closes every account involved.
- No hedging across accounts. Copied accounts at one firm must trade in the same direction, so never reverse-copy between them.
- Each account is judged alone. Daily loss, drawdown, consistency and contract limits apply to every account, so one big trade copied to ten accounts counts ten times.
- Capital caps. Several firms add up every account traded the same way and cap the total, such as $400K at FTMO and $300K at FundedNext.
Cloud copiers, local copiers and manual trading
A few firms limit how copying is done rather than whether. FundedNext CFD only allows a copier on your own VPS, which the local version of Heron Copier covers. Apex requires every master trade to be placed by hand. Maven only allows copying by hand, and Earn2Trade bans trade copiers entirely.
Heron Copier repeats your trades from a master account you trade yourself, sized for each slave. It does not trade for you, so on a firm that bans bots, place the master's trades by hand.

Frequently asked questions
Which prop firms allow copy trading?
Of the 19 firms on this page, 17 allow copying between your own accounts with a trade copier, most with limits such as a capital cap or same-direction trading. Maven only allows copying by hand, and Earn2Trade does not allow trade copiers.
Can I copy trades between two different prop firms?
Usually yes, if both firms allow copying and every account is yours. Heron Copier copies between MT4, MT5, cTrader, DXtrade, MatchTrader, TradeLocker, Tradovate / NinjaTrader, Rithmic and TopstepX in any direction. See the prop firm trade copier page for each firm's platforms.
Can I copy a signal provider or another trader into a prop firm account?
No. Every firm on this page bans copying trades that someone else decides, whether from a signal group, a copy trading service or another trader's account.
Is copying from my personal broker account into a prop firm allowed?
At most firms, if the account is in your name. Some ask for proof first: Alpha Capital Group asks for proof of ownership, and FXIFY asks for a 30-day statement. FundingPips does not allow copying into its accounts from outside.
How often are these rules checked?
They were read from each firm's own site on 19 October 2026. If a rule here differs from the firm's current rules, the firm's rules apply.
