Heron Copier is not free forever, but every feature you need to see it work is free for 7 days. The trial gives you 2 cloud accounts, a master and a slave, on any of the platforms Heron Copier supports, plus the live dashboard and the trading journal.

What the free trial includes
- 2 cloud accounts, enough for one master and one slave. Each runs on Heron Copier's servers and is usually copying in under 60 seconds.
- Every platform: MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker, MatchTrader, DXtrade, Tradovate / NinjaTrader, Rithmic and TopstepX, plus Telegram signal channels as a master.
- Copying in any direction, for example MT4 to MT5, MT5 to cTrader or Rithmic to Tradovate.
- The real-time dashboard, with every copied trade, balance and position, and the trading journal.
What is limited during the trial
- Fixed size. Slaves copy every trade at 0.01 lot, or 1 contract on Tradovate, Rithmic and TopstepX. The other sizing methods, such as Equity-to-Equity and Fixed Risk, unlock with a paid license.
- Two accounts. To copy to more slaves, add cloud accounts on a paid license.
- Cloud only. The local version, which runs on your own Windows PC or VPS with unlimited accounts, comes with paid licenses.
Because of the fixed size, use a demo account or the smallest live size you trade while you test.
How the trial and billing work
Start the trial from the pricing section. Checkout asks for a card, and nothing is charged for the first 7 days. If you keep Heron Copier, the trial continues as the Monthly License at $19 a month with the same 2 cloud accounts.
If it isn't for you, cancel before the 7 days end and you pay nothing. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the billing page.
Free copiers vs a free trial
Free MetaTrader copiers exist that run inside MT4 or MT5 on your own computer. They need the terminals open all the time, usually on a VPS you pay for, and most only copy between MetaTrader terminals on the same machine.
Heron Copier runs in the cloud, so nothing has to stay open on your side, and it copies between MetaTrader, cTrader, TradeLocker, MatchTrader, DXtrade and futures platforms. The trial lets you check that on your own accounts before you pay.
