Frequently asked questions
Is copy trading allowed at prop firms?
Most prop firms allow copying between accounts you own, within limits such as a combined capital cap and no hedging across accounts. Copying other traders is almost always banned. Rules differ by firm and change over time, so check each firm's current rules before you link accounts.
Can I copy trades between different prop firms?
Yes. Heron Copier copies in any direction between MT4, MT5, cTrader, DXtrade, MatchTrader, TradeLocker, Tradovate / NinjaTrader, Rithmic and TopstepX, so a master at one firm can feed accounts at several others. See every supported copy direction.
Can I copy a CFD prop firm account to a futures prop firm account?
Yes. Map each CFD symbol to a futures contract with a symbol alias, for example NAS100=MNQ or XAUUSD=MGC. Futures slaves trade whole contracts, so check the copied size on an evaluation before you rely on it. See MT5 to Tradovate for an example.
What if my prop firm does not allow cloud-based copiers?
For CFD platforms, run the local version of Heron Copier on your own Windows PC or VPS. It is included with every paid license and supports unlimited master and slave accounts. Tradovate / NinjaTrader, Rithmic and TopstepX are available in the cloud only.
How many prop firm accounts can I copy to?
Each paid license includes 2 cloud accounts, and you can add as many extra cloud accounts as you need for $8 a month each. The local version has no account limit. Your prop firm may cap how many accounts you can hold.
Are the prices on this page current?
They are the firms' list prices before discount codes, checked on 15 October 2026. Prop firms change prices and run discounts often, so check the firm's own site before you buy.
