Telegram to MT4 Signal Copier

Copy Telegram channel signals to MT4 automatically, in the cloud.

A Telegram to MT4 copier opens trades on your MT4 account from the signals a Telegram channel posts. Heron Copier reads each new message as it arrives, takes the symbol, direction, entry, stop loss and take profit from it, and places the trade on MT4 without you copying it by hand.

The channel only sends signals, so the lot size comes from your MT4 slave: every signal opens with the fixed lot size you set. "Block trade without SL" skips signals that don't include a stop loss. MT4 is hedging only, so each signal becomes its own ticket, even when the channel posts several entries on the same symbol. MT4 brokers often add suffixes such as .m or .pro, while the channel writes plain names like XAUUSD, so set a suffix or aliases on the slave.

Telegram signals are read in the Heron Copier cloud only. Nothing is installed on your computer, and trades keep opening while it is off.

How to set up Telegram to MT4 copying

  1. Add your Telegram channel as the master in the dashboard. Connect it with your Telegram credentials and the channel you want to follow.
  2. Add your MT4 account as the slave and pick the master it copies from. Connect it with your MT4 account number, password and broker server.
  3. Set the fixed lot size for the slave. Telegram signals carry no lot size, so every signal is opened with the size you choose, within your lot caps.
  4. Launch. Cloud accounts are usually online in under 60 seconds, and the dashboard shows every copied trade, balance and position live.

About Telegram and MT4

Many signal providers post their trades in Telegram channels. Heron Copier reads those messages as they arrive and turns them into orders, so you don't have to copy them by hand.

MetaTrader 4 came out in 2005 and is still the most common retail forex platform. Brokers and prop firms keep offering it because of its large library of Expert Advisors and indicators written in MQL4.

For everything else about each platform, see the Telegram Signal Copier and MT4 Trade Copier pages.

Things to check before you start

  • Slaves of a Telegram channel use the Fixed Lot sizing method: every signal opens with the same size. Turn on "Block trade without SL" if you only want to copy signals that include a stop loss.
  • A channel can post updates such as "move SL to entry" in free text. Check how your channel writes them and test on a demo account first.
  • Turn on Position Resync if you want the MT4 slave to check that every copied position is still open on the master.
  • Common formats such as "BUY EURUSD @ 1.0850 SL: 1.0800 TP: 1.0900" and "EURUSD BUY 1.0850" are recognised. If your channel uses an unusual format, send support one or two sample messages.
  • MT4 brokers often add suffixes to symbol names. Set a symbol suffix or symbol aliases on the slave, or let auto symbol mapping find the match.

Frequently asked questions

Can one Telegram master copy to several MT4 accounts?

Yes. Add as many MT4 slaves as you need, each with its own volume sizing, symbol mapping and risk limits. In the cloud every account uses one cloud seat.

Which signal formats does the Telegram copier understand?

Common formats such as "BUY EURUSD @ 1.0850 SL: 1.0800 TP: 1.0900" and "EURUSD BUY 1.0850", plus many variations. If your channel uses an unusual format, send support one or two sample messages.

What happens if a trade fails to copy?

Turn on failed trade copy notifications to get an e-mail alert. The account logs in the dashboard also show the reason, for example a symbol that doesn't exist on the slave or a size below the minimum.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, 7 days with 2 cloud accounts. During the trial a slave copies every trade at a fixed 0.01 lot; a paid license unlocks the other sizing methods.
