Copy trades from MatchTrader to TradeLocker when your main prop firm account runs on a branded MatchTrader platform and a second account, at another firm or a broker, runs TradeLocker. You keep trading in the MatchTrader web platform as usual, and Heron Copier opens each trade on the TradeLocker account, follows every stop loss and take profit change and closes it when you close the master.
The two web platforms work at different speeds. MatchTrader's API accepts 500 requests per minute, so the master reports new trades quickly, while TradeLocker takes about one request per second. Several trades opened within a few seconds reach TradeLocker one after another, which suits intraday and swing trading better than scalping. Plan around partial closes: a MatchTrader master does not pass them on yet, so if you scale out, the TradeLocker position stays at full size until you close the rest. Both platforms track positions one by one, so each MatchTrader position becomes one TradeLocker position. Each firm names symbols its own way, so compare the two symbol lists and add aliases where they differ.
The master connects with your MatchTrader login, password and broker, the slave with your TradeLocker email, password and server. Both can run in the Heron Copier cloud with nothing to install, or in the local apps on your own VPS, and every paid license includes both.
How to set up MatchTrader to TradeLocker copying
- Add your MatchTrader account as the master in the dashboard. Connect it with your MatchTrader login, password and broker.
- Add your TradeLocker account as the slave and pick the master it copies from. Connect it with your TradeLocker email, password and server.
- Choose one of the six volume sizing methods for the slave and, if the brokers name symbols differently, add a symbol suffix or aliases.
- Launch. Cloud accounts are usually online in under 60 seconds, and the dashboard shows every copied trade, balance and position live.
About MatchTrader and TradeLocker
MatchTrader is Match-Trade Technologies' browser-based platform. Brokers and prop firms run it under their own brand, each with its own symbol names and account setup.
TradeLocker is a newer platform built for the web and mobile, with TradingView charts built in. Many prop firms adopted it as an alternative to MetaTrader.
For everything else about each platform, see the MatchTrader Trade Copier and TradeLocker Trade Copier pages.

Things to check before you start
- MatchTrader and TradeLocker brokers rarely use the same symbol names. Set a suffix or explicit aliases on the slave, for example US30.cash=DJ30. Auto symbol mapping catches what is left as a last resort.
- Minimum volume and volume steps can differ between the two platforms. The default Equity-to-Equity sizing keeps risk in proportion, and per-symbol lot caps stop oversized trades.
- Partial closes on a MatchTrader master are not passed on to the slaves yet. Full closes are copied, so a trade you scale out of stays at full size on the slaves until you close the rest.
- TradeLocker accepts about one API request per second, so bursts of many trades are copied one after another. It suits swing and intraday trading better than scalping.
Frequently asked questions
Can one MatchTrader master copy to several TradeLocker accounts?
Yes. Add as many TradeLocker slaves as you need, each with its own volume sizing, symbol mapping and risk limits. In the cloud every account uses one cloud seat, and the local version has no account limit.
What if my MatchTrader and TradeLocker brokers name symbols differently?
Add a suffix such as .m, or explicit aliases such as US30.cash=DJ30, with a per-symbol lot multiplier where contract sizes differ. Symbols that still don't match go through auto symbol mapping as a last resort.
Can I copy from TradeLocker to MatchTrader instead?
Yes. Every trading platform Heron Copier supports can be a master or a slave. See the TradeLocker to MatchTrader trade copier.
What happens if a trade fails to copy?
Turn on failed trade copy notifications to get an e-mail alert. The account logs in the dashboard also show the reason, for example a symbol that doesn't exist on the slave or a size below the minimum.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 7 days with 2 cloud accounts. During the trial a slave copies every trade at a fixed 0.01 lot; a paid license unlocks the other sizing methods.
