TradeLocker is a browser-based trading platform used by brokers and prop firms. Heron Copier can use a TradeLocker account as the master, as a slave, or both: copy one TradeLocker account to others, or feed TradeLocker challenges from MT4, MT5, cTrader or a Telegram signal channel. Opens, stop loss and take profit changes, partial closes and closes are repeated on each slave.
You connect with your TradeLocker email, password and server. Run it in the Heron Copier cloud with nothing to install, or on your own VPS with the local version.
One request per second, and what it means
Heron Copier talks to TradeLocker through its API, and TradeLocker accepts about one request per second. MT4, MT5 and cTrader accept 500 or more a minute. That difference shapes how a TradeLocker copier behaves.
On a TradeLocker slave, a burst of trades is placed one after another rather than all at once, so the last trade in a burst lands later than the first. Stop loss and take profit changes are requests too. On a TradeLocker master, new trades are picked up at about one request per second, so very fast scalps can reach the slaves with a short delay.
In practice TradeLocker suits swing and intraday trading: a handful of trades a session, held for minutes or days. It is a poor fit for scalping, or for EAs that open and close many positions within seconds.
Put the master on the faster platform
If you trade often, keep the master on MT4, MT5 or cTrader and copy to TradeLocker, so at least the master side reports new trades straight away. Popular routes are MT5 to TradeLocker, MT4 to TradeLocker and cTrader to TradeLocker.
If you already trade on TradeLocker, TradeLocker to TradeLocker copies one account to other challenges or funded accounts, and TradeLocker to MT5 moves the same trades to a MetaTrader account. A TradeLocker master can feed futures too, for example TradeLocker to Tradovate.
No EA hosting, but EAs can still trade TradeLocker
Heron Copier does not host robots on TradeLocker. If your strategy is an Expert Advisor, run it on MT4 or MT5 instead, either on your own terminal or hosted in the Heron Copier cloud as an .ex4 or .ex5 file. Then add that account as a master and your TradeLocker account as its slave. In the cloud that is one seat for the hosted EA, one for the master and one for each slave. Keep the rate limit in mind: an EA that trades in rapid bursts will be copied to TradeLocker one trade at a time.
Symbols and sizing
Symbol names on TradeLocker are set by each broker or prop firm, so they rarely match your master account exactly. Heron Copier tries auto symbol mapping when a symbol is not found, and you can add a symbol suffix or explicit aliases. An alias can carry its own lot multiplier where contract sizes differ. TradeLocker sizes are in lots, and partial closes on the master are repeated on the slave.
Telegram signals to TradeLocker
Signal channels post trades at a human pace, which sits comfortably within TradeLocker's limit. With Telegram to TradeLocker, Heron Copier reads each new message and opens the trade on your TradeLocker account. Signals carry no lot size, so each one opens with the fixed lot size you set on the slave. Telegram masters run in the cloud only.
Prop firm rules and protection
Each TradeLocker slave has its own balance or equity thresholds that close all positions and stop copying, lot size caps, and an option to skip trades without a stop loss. Prop firms set their own rules on copy trading and API access, and some block the API on certain platforms. Check your firm's rules and the list of prop firms with blocked API access before you buy a challenge. Cloud trades are sent from Heron Copier servers; local trades are sent from your own IP address.
The local TradeLocker copier
TradeLocker has no desktop terminal to attach an EA to, so the local version uses a standalone copier app on your Windows VPS, with all settings in the app. Save your credentials and settings with File, Save Profile, and load them again after a restart. The app has to be started by hand each time. The local version has no limit on the number of accounts.

Frequently asked questions
Can I scalp with a TradeLocker copier?
It is not recommended. TradeLocker accepts about one API request per second, so bursts of trades are copied one after another and fast scalps can arrive late. It works best for swing and intraday trading.
Can I run an EA on TradeLocker?
Not directly. Run the EA on an MT4 or MT5 account, which you can host in the Heron Copier cloud, and copy that account to TradeLocker.
What do I need to connect a TradeLocker account?
Your TradeLocker email, password and server. Enter them in the dashboard, choose master or slave, and launch.
Are partial closes copied to TradeLocker?
Yes. When the master partially closes a trade, the copied position on the TradeLocker slave is partially closed too.
Does the local version support TradeLocker?
Yes. It uses a standalone TradeLocker copier app on your own VPS instead of an EA. You can save a profile so you don't re-enter your details, but the app has to be started manually after each restart.
